Pastor Alberto Malisani

Pastor Alberto Malisani (Lead Pastor): Pastor Alberto began his relationship with our congregation in early 2016 and became our full-time Worship and Assistant Pastor in 2017.

He is married to Diana Axell and has three children: Florencia, Fiorella, and Benjamin. Pastor Alberto was born in Argentina; therefore, his primary language is Spanish, but he also speaks Portuguese, Danish, and English.

Pastor Alberto is a music-conservatory teacher, who holds a degree in choir and a symphony orchestra conduction. He has extensive international experience as a professional musician and has been a member of several symphony orchestras, conducting choirs, symphony orchestras, and operas in Europe and South America.

He was a missionary for 13 years in Paraguay and also a pastor for over 10 years in Denmark. He was the Executive Director of the “Copenhagen Culture Centre”, which is one of the largest evangelical churches in Denmark. Here, he developed the idea of using “Art & Music”, with the use of professional and amateur artists, as an integration tool for immigrants. This program would later receive a grant, for financial support, from the Royal House of Denmark and from other well-known institutions.

In August 2019, Pastor Alberto became the Executive Pastor of Grace Church helping to navigate the leadership transition of our congregation and lead our church through the COVID pandemic the following year.

After much prayer and consideration, the Board of Elders decided to call Pastor Alberto as the Lead Pastor of Grace Church in October of 2020.

Pastor Alberto’s leadership and service is a blessing to Gace Church and together with his wife, Diana and their children, they are an inspiration to our congregation.
